Welcome
Welcome to Terribile Sports Academy!
We are honored that your family has chosen to be part of our academy. Our mission is to build
confidence through sports and education by creating a positive, safe, and encouraging
environment where every participant has the opportunity to learn, compete, and grow.
This handbook outlines our policies, expectations, and procedures. By registering for any
Terribile Sports Academy program, parents and participants acknowledge that they have
reviewed and agree to these policies.

Terribile Sports Academy currently offers programs including, but not limited to:
• Baseball Development
• Flag Football Development
• Speed & Agility Training
• Private Lessons
• Small Group Training
• Student Success Academy
• Academic Coaching
• Camps
• Clinics
• Community Events
• Online Programs
• Merchandise
• Digital Products
• Future Terribile Sports Academy programs
Program offerings, schedules, locations, instructors, and pricing may change without notice.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to build confidence through sports and education while developing character,
leadership, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong learning.
Registration Policy
Registration is completed online through Terribile Sports Academy.
A participant’s registration is not considered complete until all required forms have been
submitted and payment has been received, unless other arrangements have been approved.
Terribile Sports Academy reserves the right to refuse or discontinue participation when necessary
to protect the safety and integrity of the program.
Payment Policy
Program fees must be paid according to the registration requirements.
Terribile Sports Academy reserves the right to:
• Change pricing
• Offer promotional discounts
• Create payment plans
• Refuse participation for unpaid balances
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Program planning, staffing, scheduling, and facility reservations are based on enrollment.
Refund requests submitted at least seven (7) days before the first scheduled session may be
considered, less any applicable processing fees.
Refunds are generally not issued once a program has begun.
Missed sessions due to illness, vacations, scheduling conflicts, transportation issues, or personal
reasons are not eligible for refunds.
Weather-related cancellations may be rescheduled whenever reasonably possible.Terribile Sports Academy reserves the right to cancel, combine, relocate, postpone, or modify
any program due to weather, facility availability, safety concerns, instructor availability, low
enrollment, or circumstances beyond our control.
Attendance
Participants should arrive on time and prepared.
Repeated tardiness, unsafe behavior, disrespectful conduct, or failure to follow instructions may
result in removal from a session or program.
Parent Expectations
Parents play an important role in creating a positive experience for every child.
Parents are expected to:
• Demonstrate good sportsmanship.
• Treat all coaches, instructors, officials, volunteers, athletes, and families with respect.
• Allow coaches to coach.
• Encourage effort rather than criticize mistakes.
• Use respectful language.
• Help create a positive learning environment.
Terribile Sports Academy reserves the right to remove any parent or spectator whose behavior is
unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or inconsistent with these expectations.
Participant Expectations
Participants are expected to:
• Show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, and staff.
• Demonstrate good sportsmanship.
• Follow all safety instructions.
• Use appropriate language.
• Put forth their best effort.
• Care for academy equipment and facilities.
• Represent Terribile Sports Academy positively at all times.
Failure to meet these expectations may result in disciplinary action, suspension, or dismissal
from a program.
Health & Medical Policy
Participants should only attend programs when they are healthy enough to participate safely.
Parents should not send participants who have symptoms of a contagious illness or any condition
that could place themselves or others at risk.
Parents are responsible for providing accurate emergency contact and medical information
during registration and for notifying the academy of any changes.
In the event of a medical emergency, Terribile Sports Academy personnel may contact
emergency medical services if deemed necessary.
Assumption of Risk
Participation in athletic and educational activities involves inherent risks that cannot be
completely eliminated.
These risks may include, but are not limited to:
• Falls
• Slips
• Trips
• Collisions
• Sprains
• Strains
• Bruises
• Broken bones
• Concussions
• Heat-related illnesses
• Equipment-related injuries
• Other injuries associated with physical activity
By registering for any Terribile Sports Academy program, parents acknowledge these inherent
risks and voluntarily choose to allow their child to participate.
Weather Policy
Programs may be delayed, relocated, rescheduled, shortened, or canceled due to:
• Lightning• Heavy rain
• Hurricanes or tropical weather
• Unsafe field conditions
• Extreme heat
• Poor air quality
• Other safety concerns
Families will be notified as soon as reasonably possible through the academy’s communication
platform.
Equipment
Participants are responsible for bringing required equipment unless otherwise communicated.
Terribile Sports Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
Photography & Media
Terribile Sports Academy may photograph or record participants during practices, camps, clinics,
games, tournaments, and other academy activities.
Images and videos may be used for:
• Website
• Social media
• Marketing
• Educational materials
• Promotional materials
• Printed publications
Parents who do not wish for their child’s image to be used should notify the academy in writing
before participation.
Privacy
Information collected during registration is used to:
• Register participants
• Contact families
• Process payments
• Maintain emergency information
• Improve academy programsTerribile Sports Academy does not sell personal information to third parties.
Electronic Communication
By registering, parents consent to receiving academy-related communication through email,
phone calls, text messages, registration software, and approved team communication platforms.
Program Changes
Terribile Sports Academy reserves the right to:
• Modify schedules
• Change instructors
• Adjust locations
• Combine groups
• Cancel programs
• Update policies
• Improve programming
when necessary to provide a safe and positive experience.
Acceptance of Policies
By completing the online registration, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges that they have
reviewed this Parent Policies & Participant Handbook and agree to abide by the policies
contained within it.
